DESCRIPTION
A beautiful and delicious layered dessert for berry season.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 16 ounces Cool Whip, divided
- 2 quarts fresh assorted berries, washed and drained well
- 1/2 pint (10oz.) jar Kitchen Kettle Seedless Raspberry Jam
- 12 Snickerdoodle Cookies, broken into bite size chunks
- For garnish: fresh berries and fresh mint leaves, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large bowl, mix pudding mix and milk with a wire whisk. Fold in 12 ounces of Cool Whip. Set aside.
In a microwave proof bowl, place the Kitchen Kettle Seedless Raspberry Jam and microwave for 1 minute or until it can be easily stirred (but not totally liquid). Gently fold in the assorted berries. Set aside.
To assemble: In a large trifle bowl, place half of the snickerdoodle cookie pieces. Place half of the pudding mix on top and then half of the assorted berries and jam. Repeat layers. Top with the remaining Cool Whip and additional fresh berries and mint, if desired.
